“Hello from the other side.” -words that aren’t actually mine but are very well applicable to my current situation. If social media or interaction with other humans is something you encounter on a daily basis, you most likely heard of Adeles latest hit-single: Hello.
“Hello from the outside.”
Wether you want to spice up the cubicle life with some NYFW attire or stun that cute co-worker of yours I got you covered. Because jeans do not only make a cute bum but they can also be work appropriate. So trot along while I live my dream and recreate the devil wears Prada.-or in this case Burberry.
Growing up is a trap they say.
But what if it’s the solution to the problem? When am I able to consider myself grown up? I’ve most likely reached my final height and yet adulthood is nothing I can see within my reach, right? Some grow up faster than others because of things they survived because of loss they surrendered. Do I want to grow up?
“Honestly, I just bought it because it was pretty and comfy at the same time”, says no blogger ever and yet I do, because truth be spoken. Spicing it up with a sparkly shoe and a patterned clutch, I feel much more blogger-esque and more importantly like myself.
As a student I don’t count in actual years, I count in school years. Non the less I enjoy the fireworks and happy celebrations but it just doesn’t indicates the end of the year for me. Just because I don’t see it as the start/end and therefore a new beginning doesn’t mean we (students) don’t set goals for the upcoming year. For those saying every new year will be the best and healthiest year yet I can see 50% of you stuffing themselves with cookies and cake on the 1st of January. (No judging cookies equal life.) We just have to make sure we are in the other 50 per cent.
Changing, moving, going away. Are often words that make you understand what bittersweet means. They are by no means indicators of evil but letting go and shifting away from the past isn’t an easy act. I know some people won’t admit it, yet leaving behind what formed and created you is always hard. No matter how much you enjoy facing what may come, there is still the backdrop of your life known as the past.
Fully dressed in a new kind of nudity or as some call it minimalism. This trend has been round for quite a long time now and I ‘simply’ love the button down blouses, white shirts and boyfriend blue jeans. This outfit isn’t considered minimalistic but does play with very settled color range.
In order to evolve you have to try new things and be willing to learn. I learn french in school and should be some sort of fluent by now but well, I am not. This beautiful language which I’m definitely interested in just doesn’t come naturally to me and that’s why I got up and and wanted to change that in a way that is enjoyable. In a nutshell: I watched some movies in french! (more…)
Oh it feels so good to be back on my regular friday with a regular fashion post.
Past weeks have been busy for me and everyone I know. I’ve been to Croatia two weeks ago
and the outfit seen in the header is one I wore while being there.
I don’t like not having my phone around. I like to keep in touch with everyone and everything at all times and to be reached if necessary. As a blogger I am spending a lot of time with my laptop and my phone but I am not alone with the struggle of constant connection. Millions of people check their ‘instagram’ every second, email or argue over the phone (I don’t like arguing over the phone. The whole: storm out dramatically gets lost…) Anyways, it’s hard nowadays to not get sucked into the “world wide web”. What we don’t realize is is that we might just lose precious time in the real world.
